Guild Wars 2

I am returning to gw2 again and want to give structured pvp (unranked) a shot again. Last time around i was a thief and it seemed my main job was decapping nodes. I liked the idea of double pistol thief but people in game told me it wasnt very good. When i started heart of thorns i felt the pvp felt a lot faster and burstier to me. I want to give GW2 another good shot and want to know what can i play that is used and good for team fights and is a little more tanky? I feel like im not seeing something correctly, and want to .

Dragonhunter is VERY easy and does pretty well in team fights. Tempest is a little more complicated but is a staple of team fights. Reaper is damage for team fights but is insanely defenseless and will lose every 1v1.
