Why aren’t they working?
I got daily healer and daily dodger
dodging is not working at all for me even when I am very precise at dodgin attacks
and healer doesn’t seem to work on npc’s
What gives Anet?

The kill variety was annoying enough to do
these new dailies are just impossible why aren’t they working?

Anyone else having this problem?

Healer works on players, just go hunt Jormag if you don’t run dungeons.

Dodger works too since i got it. You need to dodge attack so words evade appear. I got mine in 2-3 min in dungeon but you can go to some area with ranged mobs and just evade when the arrow is shot at you…

Agree with other guys… dungeons help you with a lot of the tasks… just dodge a couple of those fire turrets in cof, they shoot like 5 projectiles at a time… you can compete it in seriously like 3 dodges… healer is also attainable in a dungeon easily, or you can go to the hunting lodge in queensdale… hunters there go down in like 3 hits seriously, just follow them around and revive… crafting daily works with refining although I can see ANet giving that the nerfbat in the next patch… daily kill variety, just go to two different starting zones, teleport is free if you go through lions arch…

The daily became more of a chore now for sure… although it’s still attainable… the only thing that frustrates me now is dungeons used to count for your daily events, now they don’t so you gotta go out and find events to do… cause they are not just the easiest thing to find around… esp 5 each day

you can also res downed NPCs out in the world for the ressing one. You can also have a friend jump to their death from a jump puzzle, or something numerous times. also, i think you have to initiate the res for it to count – with 3 players ressing another, i jumped in late, and did not get credit (it may be i didn’t res enough %, idk)

the dodging one i had trouble with last night – but at the ascalon fractal, the arrow carts give 3 evades per volley (might be more, my reaction time is slow). after dodging like crazy at the gate/seigemaster, i was able to finish my daily for the night.

last night’s daily seemed to take longer, which, if the intention was for players to play longer per session, it is working so far. it definitely took me more than an hour last night vs 30-40 minutes last week. Thankfully, the enemy types and # of kills is still there. if they were not there, i would rage.

I was also under the impression i could choose to do 4/5 to do to finish it. Guess i was wrong.

Hmmm, I was expecting to read about the the combo one lol. Both of these are pretty easy. As people have said earlier just stay around dragons/dungeons/etc.

As for dodging, just make sure the word “Evaded” pops up. It doesn’t count using block skills (aegis), counter skills, or invulnerability skills like miss form or blurred frenzy.

RIP in peace Robert

General tip for dodging:
Make sure you stand in the area where an attack will land when the attack animation starts, but dodge away before it lands.
Ettins are especially easy, because they have a long “tell”. Just stand in front of them, and dodge away the moment you see the yellow glow on their club disappear (which is when they start swinging the club down).
