Hey

I just did something very very stupid. I reached 80 and were going for 100% map completion. Then I bought a full sett of traveler’s draconic armour with the most expensive pirates and travelers rune + many expensive accesories to boost magic find. The thing is that I don’t like magic find, and I really regret wasting this on my exotic armour when I’m so poor. So my question is, what should I do? I like to run dungeons but I suck because of the magic find boosts…… Im frustrated

Keep the armor and run around in Southsun farming events with the zerg (with the 200% MF boost from the settler NPC) until you have enough money to buy another set. If you’re unsure about how well you’ll survive, use some ranged weapons.

EDIT: If you have a lot of karma, consider exotic karma gear as well. If you’re not a fan of farming, you can invest in rare main armor/masterwork accessories and do fine in dungeons.

After you have another set, it’s up to you whether to keep the MF set for (open-world) farming or to salvage it for ectos. If you do salvage it, I’d recommend using the best kits available so you can sell back the runes as well.

I would recommend just saving the set for use later. You never know when you’re going to be in the mood to farm and having a spare MF set is always nice.
