Alright. So I know you can’t deposit money into your bank anymore because of the whole wallet update but is there still a way to split your money up into… uh… “stacks”? I want to split my money between save/free spending and the other part into investing into the trading post for flipping items and what not. Is there any way to do that?

Not really but you can put in small buy orders for some very expensive items like Eternity.

Other than a personal guild to which you alone have access, no, there is not.
Any gold in a guild vault will not be restored should you ever get hacked, though.

The game is about to start limiting the amount of money you can transfer to a guild bank to 500g/week and if you get hacked, account restoration won’t return the money or items in the guild bank. (Although, I’m not sure about what happens to buy orders after a restoration — in theory, the money is still supposed to be for your account, held in escrow by Evon Gnashblade. In practice, I could see it being ignored or included in the restoration.)

If they cancel the orders and take it all out from the TP it wouldn’t be any different than if you had kept it all in your account wallet the whole time.

Limited to a paltry 500g per week eh?

You could get a secondary Guild for the Guild bank and store the money there.
Fair warning if you are removed with no way of getting back the money is gone.
So then the option is have a second account in there too with invite rights as well.
Or use that second account as the bank itself.

It depends how they do the snapshot. I posted a question about it; I’m hoping I can get a red tag answer. I can see them not wanting to dupe items or coin (you offered Bolt at 3,000g, the hacker took it down and insta-sold it at 2,000 ; someone has that bolt now — can they ‘restore’ it to you? I could see them going either way.)

You can use paper or your computer to keep a ledger of your expenses. You’ll just have to keep track of your money in your own way.
