Well I was not planning on collecting spoons as it burns thru a lot of karma which I am not willing to divest myself of quite yet; however, I happened to be Sparkfly Fen the other day when Teq popped so I did him for the first time about a year. I was given the Carved Bone spoon for a reward. I picked up the Collectible Spoon Box and now the Teq spoon is in there.

The Question: the spoon still appears in my inventory, can I sell it and still have it remain in my collection or must it stay in inventory till I get credit for entire collection?

You can sell it and you will still have the collection credit. I sold and destroyed my spoons before getting the last one and I have the full achievement.

That might be a bug; in theory, you are supposed to bind the items (to your account or to a character) to get credit. I recommend selling it while you can.

The caved bone spoon is account bound on acquire and the rest are either soulbound or account bound on acquire. The reason it has a vendor value is probably because you can get multiples. Maybe ANet has finally learned that people really don’t like getting things that are worth less than junk loot repeatedly.

Man!!!! I really wish they’d have made a sequel to that movie. I really wanted to see what happened next.
