Been trying to figure this out for a while. Is it even possible to split stacks of items in your inventory? If so, how? Thanks

Its either hold down shift or alt (always forget which one) — and move the stack, it will prompt you to split it. (IF the item can be split).

I finally found an answer!! This has troubled me for 2 years!

Lol it took me about 70 hours of playing to find it… Every game I play is different…..

I found it out in beta but couldn’t remember it until I named a norn Altdrag Splitstack. That name being taken in launch, my 80 Engineer is Altdragg Splitstack. He’s reminded plenty of guildies how to do it

When you see anyone in chat showing off a stack of Iron Ore or Butter, they are mistakenly using Ctrl to split…..
