Stand United & Fear Not: Dungeons
Aiurs, what you are trying to do with this thread is remarkable and I thank you for that. I’d love to do the same, but I don’t have much time and probably not enough patience either.
On an unrelated note, wouldn’t you be way more effective if you went with healing power instead of vit/tough? I’ve found that, at least in SPvP, a Guardian with maxed healing power takes hits as good as a vit/tough one, but offers way better heals and is far more sustainable. Don’t you agree with me?
@newbies: If you need a tip or two for any dungeons but Arah ( haven’t run that one much ) please feel free to whisper me in-game.
“You can’t have more than 10 HS decks because that would confuse people”
“30 fps is more cinematic”
All I ask is that you attempt to include one person who hasn’t run that particular dungeon yet in your group.
As for the build, probably yes, but I’m not max level, and the build I’m using (honor/valor) maxes vitality/toughness/healing power. Here is the build as a general look:

I stopped dungeons and stuff long ago on another game, I went the “hardcore” route in all things, and really it all turned me off. What I like here is I can just pick choose what I do.
I would even turn off map chat if were not for the people who announce events ( which is cool, the events I find really fun).
But I could do without the trash talk and all insults that are traded.
I seriously doubt I will ever do a dungeon or anything other than open world exploring and events. When I am lucky I have a friend with me, or meet someone nice in the area I am.
I like the open world evens as you really don’t even need a PUG, people just join in.
Really, I think it is awesome what you propose. Truly great to see someone nice, helpful, friendly.
My past experience in games has made me very narrow in my interests, and I even read the forums reluctantly, as they tend be a showcase for “ubergamers” to decry how easy the game is and how awful most players are…how the game is dumbed down for “bads” and theses elites must suffer the burden of it.
I have been in many dugeon type quests, and some poor player did not have it down totally yet, would be killed often, and of course…the ubergamers mercilessly insulted the person. I had to shut up; these situations just go from bad to worse if you try to intervene. I was lucky really and had friends to begin with in games, but not everyone is so lucky.
It was then, when I joined PUGs later on. Just awful. Not the play level, the nastiness and condescending trash.
And…I just burned out on the “high end” stuff. For all the nice people, there are just too many awful ones. They just ruin the fun for me, and I changed my style. Now, I have fun as it is.
