I’m just curious as to what i should be trying to get equipment wise. I just hit cap with my elementalist, all the way through i was looking for power and precision. I didn’t take a look at forums and builds until now, but i am re-rolling and would just like to know for each-other class.

I have found this site, seems pretty ideal.

Here are some examples. All focused around damage.

Elementalist – Precision > Condition Damage > Power > Critical Damage > Condition Duration

Thief – Condition Damage >= Precision > Condition Duration > Critical Damage = Power

Warrior – Condition Damage = Precision > Condition Duration > Critical Damage = Power

To be honest, this subject is a very loaded question. It really all depends on your weapon skills, your utility skills, your trait spec, and whether you’re grouping or soloing. While the ratios you listed up do look like they’re vaguely accurate, I wouldn’t put a lot of faith into them without understanding the big picture of your own character build.

We are Test Group F. (Don’t ask about what happened to the previous Test Groups.)

Kind of hard to say which stats to go with for any profession. I mean, it depends on how you want to play that character. Do you want a condition build? Stack condition damage and duration. Do you want a precision build? Stack crit chance and damage. Do you want survivability? Stack toughness, vitality and maybe healing.

I haven’t played every profession yet, but out of the six I have played, I always start by asking myself what kind experience I want from it, then build around it. From what I’ve seen, most, if not all, professions will support any kind of build. Your job is to create that build effectively. But there is no absolute stat-to-profession relationship. As far as I can tell.
