“In PvE, if a player is awarded loot by killing a creature and the loot is of uncommon rarity or higher, a chest will appear that contains the loot that would previously have been on the corpse. If the rarity of the loot on the creature is lower than uncommon, the loot will remain on the creature’s corpse."

2 questions:

1) Are these chests lootable by everyone, allowing people to steal loot from others?
I hope not, that would be terrible..
2) If those chests aren’t lootable by everyone, then what is the point of having them?
What’s wrong with having loot on a corpse?

1) no
2) so you don’t miss it and can tell straight if loot is worth picking or you can ignore corpse

The only question that hasn’t been answered is if there are badges of honour still in the small loot bags.

I believe that badges of honour are still in the small loot bags. Confirmation anyone?

Yup badges of honor are still dropped in normal bags.
