Hey, guys/gals. I just recently restarted playing the game. Apparently some of my stuff is missing. Any tips on how to make gold so I can get some things back. I need to save up about 6k gold. Unless someone is generous to donate.

One of my guildies has 600k gold….won’t share a dime of it.

And, yes, I’m 80 on my thief already. Making a new warrior too

blink You want to save 6000 gold to get…some of your stuff back? What happened to your stuff? If it as unfairly taken from you, maybe you should ask for the rollback unless you already have done that before. If you haven’t, contact support.

6000 gold. That is as unreachable to me as 600 000. Most I ever had was 200 to get the achievemt and that lasted minutes.

I just leveled a char to 80 so a rollback wouldnt help me really, lol.

I think your misunderstanding the terminology used for currency in this game. The smallest unit of currency is a copper the largest is a gold. 6000 gold is more than even most serious players have ever had and can buy about 3 legendary weapons the most expensive items in the game.

No, no misunderstanding of terminology. I’ve played about 50 MMOs seriously. My guildie has 450,031 gold, not copper, not silver. Gold

Then your guildie has spent the last 1.8 years of his life flipping on the TP all day and accumulating vast amounts of imaginary money that has no real life use and at this point no use for that amount in game. As a side note he should probably seek professional psychiatric help or at least find a girlfriend.

Eh, I don’t think it is proper to judge people really. Some people play the game for fun just like people play basketball for fun. And yes, you can translate online stuff to real life stuff easily. Just know the proper people really. Anyways, not about that guy.

The point I and i assume the other poster where trying to make is 6000 gold is a ridiculous amount of in game money, What are you trying to get anyway?

If your stuff is missing your account was hacked you should contact customer support and change your password. As far as earning gold do what you did to earn the original 4000. Also I’m starting to think your trolling.

Bought some items a while back on release, and sold them a couple months later. Customer support can’t really help me. Like I said, I already leveled a new char to 80 and won’t want to lose it.

Oh so you bought a bunch of ghastly shields. 6000 gold is gonna take a long time to make were talking thousands of hours unless you spend most of time flipping on the TP then it probably will still take hundreds of hours. Going from lvl 2-80 takes about 40 hours or less so i would still suggest an account roll back. The best way to make money not including TP flipping is speed running dungeons.

For me levelling characters is far, far easier than making gold. I would not mind having to level up a character again if that meant getting 4000 gold. (I would not want to level all 18 again though.)

It isn’t that I am not making gold, I do make some but the crafting eats up everything and would swallow much more if I had it.

Dungeons, Edge of the Mists do make an income. To make thousands you really need to play the TP though. Either actively flipping or getting a lucky break like you did at the start.

Maybe you will get a lucky drop of a precursor or few. I have not had one in my over 5000 hours of playing, but I was never Fortuna’s favourite. It is alright though, I think the reason I have not gotten bored with the game is never having quite enough, let alone too much, gold.

As others already said, leveling a character to 80 takes no time. If you want your gold and stuff back, contact CS and ask for a rollback (if you haven’t already had one previously).

You are discussing vast amounts of gold most players have never seen and in the same paragraph are panhandling for “donations”. My immediate response to you would earn me an infraction or a ban so I will politely decline to assist you.

BTW, you can level a new character in 80 much quicker than earning 6000 gold……you should reconsider a rollback. I also find your lack of ’concern" for “loosing” your stuff raises a red flag about this whole issue.
