Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing the game since it’s release, had no problem until now, I downloaded the setup installer on my new laptop, after turning it on, it asked for my Email and Password, then after clicking the log in button, the grey circle keeps going in circles, doesn’t do anything, waited for at least an hour now, nothing. Please help.

I’ve been having weird login server disconnects and it always seems to be server-side. Only waiting fixes it for me, for now!

I’m having the same issue as the OP. Tried just about everything with the help of the support staff and still no luck. If you have any luck figuring this issue out please let me know!

Change the file name from “GW2setup.exe” to “GW2.exe” and it worked perfectly. Hope this works for you guys.

The login circle hanging also happened to me running Guild Wars 2 under wine in Arch linux. The above solution of just renaming the setup file to GW2.exe worked perfectly for me as well.

It works still thank you so much. I just moved to a new computer and didn’t know why it wouldn’t work till this little fix em up.
