Guild Wars 2

This is probably the stupidist question of all time but :
How do I change chat channels ? I am in Guild or Party but want to go to general/world chat.
Also is there any emote buttons or do we always have to type sit, dance etc ????

for general i usually go /m
or /s for local chat.

iirc, you can click the little cogwheel in the bottom of the chat interface and you can choose from there if you prefer clicking.

as for emotes, not that i know of. :// so they all have to be typed in akaik.
for reference, you can write your own emotes though! lol, but of course, without animation
