Superior Runes of *insert class*
Names are just … name. The benefits are whatever they say on the item description. In theory the stats and benefits are based on the devs’ concept of the particular class .
Okay. I am hoping that is the case because when the game first came out, in pve, superior runes of the elementalist would show up as 7/6 if you put a single rune on your character. I didn’t know if that was a glitch that was fixed or something.
It would actually show up as 8/6 if you put it on your gear. That hasn’t been “fixed”.
It’s a visual bug due to your PvP armor and your PvE armor. It uses a simple tally system that will intermingle.
If you’re using default PvP armor, you’ll need to reach 13 (or 14) runes to get the full effect (14 for underwater, 13 for out of water).
If your PvP armor does not have the rune on it (you’ll either know or it’s going to be your professions rune), you’ll need 6 or 7 for full effects (6 for full effect, 7 for both ong round and under water).
To tell if you get the effect underwater or on land, check if your Helm and/or Aquabreather has the rune. If they both have the rune and you’re at 6/6, you will actually be at 5/6. If they both have the rune and you’re at 7/6, you’ll have the effect both underwater and on land.
tl;dr: (Aquabreather is the underwater hat). PvP armor is kitten y.
