Guild Wars 2

I was wondering if I should use them on a level 80 guardian or a level 80 warrior. I was primarily going to use them for running/soloing dungeons and speedrunning but I don’t know what class I should use them on. I was also curious what kind of build I should be running, (zerker, PVT, etc.) for the things I want to use them for. Thank you for everyone who comments! I could really use your help because the last thing I want to do it waste all that gold on something I could never use them for. If you think I should use them for something else, PLEASE!!! let me know! Thanks again

You can use them anywhere. But I’m not sure it’s a good idea. I don’t know about soloing dungeons, but most speedrunners recommend runes of the scholar. They are much cheaper. (they also recommend full berserker gear)

Generally, travelers runes are good if you want the 25% speed buff and don’t want to use a utility slot. IMO (but I don’t know), this is less important in dungeons where you can run by mobs using swiftness.

I know a lot of guardians that use 2 Sup. Runes of Traveler on their guardians for Boon Duration builds.

Good point. The boon duration builds use 2 water, 2 monk, and 2 travelers. But, Anet is in the process of revamping the runes specifically because of this kind of thing. There will (in a month or so) be a rune set specifically for boon duration.

Yes, sometime after March 18th, Runes and Sigils will get a major overhaul.

You would be best advised to wait until then to decide on a final build. Especially if it has components that are expensive.
