How do you select eye colour for the TA heavy helmet?

I noticed people with red eyes on the helmet, and assumed that you could select a dye when you own the helm. So I aquired it, and tried to change the eye colour but none of the dyes have an effect on the eyes.

I’m not sure, but the wiki is saying it glows in the dark, so at nighttime the colouring is different. Prolly something to do with that.

Haven’t used the TA armor myself (don’t particularly like it), but from what I’ve read on the internet, being a sylvari armor, which is grown over the user, some parts of it take the color of the skin of the user. Maybe it’s the case with the eyes, maybe they take the color of the skin or the eyes, or even the glow (in case of a sylvari) of the user.

My sylvari glows blue, has bright blue eyes, and dark blue skin. The colour of the eyes on the helmet is none of these colours, day or night, and does not glow or shine. It is a dark beige colour.

If you google the armor, you can see screenies where the eyes are bright red.

There must be someone who uses this helmet and gets bright red eyes, or another colour. Please tell me what I am missing, I’m so lost!
