Q:
Tank Support Build?
A:
you claim that you want to help complete runs faster, but fact that you have almost no offensive support apart 1 utility(str banner) and empowering trait, determined that was a lie
in any decent pve group this would be hindrance, because it provide almost nothing besides permanent regeneration while dealing negative damage (no offensive weapon nor offensive support)
in beginner groups it would increase survivability a lot, although without contributing anything to end fight faster
leave the defensive support to elementalists and guardians, but if you still insist then at least get warhorn with trait to cleanse group, while at the same time it provides permanent vigor. cleanse and vigor are a lot more important than regeneration
as for tanking, anyone with aoe burst will get agro away from you, and if you somehow manage to keep agro on you, you don’t have any survivability beside 2 dodges
also you don’t have any stunbreaker – why? – shake it off would be good choice, as it can cleanse party members too
hammer – no no no why would you want to knock enemies in pve
rifle – salvage it, and get longbow for ranged option instead, you can provide fire fields and aoe might combo with it. longbow’s fire field is most kittin field in game
banner choice – only disciple and strength banners matter – not to mention having 4 banners is just wrong
i would recommend to have only 1 or 2 banners, replacing slots with “for great justice”(offensive support) and “shake it off”(defensive support & stunbreaker for self)
from my perspective if you want to make runs faster with warrior you either have to go full dps or dps mixed with offensive support – with 80-90% might duration you can easily keep 12-21 might stacks on your group – from fgj and longbow firefield combo. if you setup your traits to include empower, and equip str and disciple banners then you provide everything warrior can – con of that build, that its counter-productive to have more than 1 warrior built like that in group
No such thing as tank/support in gw2. If you are doing dungeons or pve in general you want to focus on damage, that is the best way to support your team.

i see i just saw something that i thought might work but ur right more damage = faster run so i think i might go straight crit if anything but thx you guys for your honest opinion much appricated but i still want ti find out what armor will be the best for something im looking for like i found some but not any that seem to do what i wanted state wise so anyt info on that will be great
The issue with defensive builds in GW2 is that being a good defenisve player means the team survives. So that is a yes/no situation (yes, the team survived, or no they did not). For the damage output however, investing in power, critical, precission is ever increasing, there is no such thing as doing enough damage. It can always be better. Als. being build offensive, is also a good defense, cause killing the foes quicker, means they got less time to kill you.
At the moment, a team suited for full offensive can easily stay alive, making a defensive build totally useless.
The only solution would be to make foes more lethal, but so far there is no indication that this is going to happen.
