Technical Difficulties for Video
I see two options here.
1) Download and use something reliable, even free like Bandicam.
or
2) Call your grandma over to help run you through it.
Yes…?
You can render it in your video pad thing, and drop the video in your new editing software. You’ll lose sone quality, and you cant edit past edits, though.
I have no idea how video pad saves projects (i never even heard of it), but you can maybe see if your new editor can open it. Its unlikely, though :/. Most editors use their own extension.

Same. MSI afterburner + Movie maker is very easy.
^^^^^^^^
I do the same, works really well. These are two free, easy to use and very functional programs. Afterburner is great – no minimum recording time required and you have flexibility in adjusting the recording quality to comply with your graphics processing capabilities.
Typically I add one more step and run the video through handbrake to shrink it a bit and web optimize.
This is 100% off-topic.
Menace, Alissah gave some great advice there. If you can get the video rendered to a video format (e.g. mpeg, avi, mp4, mov etc), you can easily open it up with Windows Movie Maker (which accepts many formats), finish any edits you want and follow advice others have given from there to get it uploaded.
If your problem is with the rendering and saving to a video file, unfortunately I don’t think there’s much that can be done, outside of finding folks knowledgeable about this Video Pad software.
For future videos, you might consider heeding some of the advice in this thread. There are other free programs (as you found), but try to use only reputable ones.
