Don;t forget that Ranger has the ability to shoot a 5 unicorn spread shot.

In a dungeoning group, a thief with an SB is more useful than a ranger with an SB, so I’d go with thief. Thief shortbow gives you a spammable blast finisher and easy shadowstep, but is overall low DPS. I tend to keep it very conveniently placed in my bags so I can swap it out with a sword+pistol. Ranger shortbow is just really low DPS and should just be used for the dodge out of melee if you need a breather – but longbow is a better ranged DPS option.

But my reasons don’t have anything to do with what best displays your flying unicorns. That’s really just personal preference.

How close are you to getting the bow? You could always wait and see which one you’re playing most by the time you’ve got it and that might make your decision easier.

But personally I think the ranger launching 5 ponies looks better than anything the thief does with it.

I really love the 5 spread unicorns on ranger…but I think it should be based off what character you play most.

That said, I have The Moot on my guardian and it sits in my bag unless I’m playing around in town. :\ Kind of sad to have worked so hard and then have it be a back up (if ever) weapon.
