Guild Wars 2

Im completely frustrated. The dude talks to me, but the portal next to him dosent work. people say there are jumping mushrooms, but I have scoured the entire cliffside (on both sides) of the eastern part of the map, STILL cant find anything to get me to the objective…..

Beyond frustrated. please help. 4 hours of nothing.
