Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone. I’ve been searching the forums to try and figure out what class I should make as my main. I have a level 30 ele, but I only hear negative things about the class now. I played WoW for a while and played as Ret Pala my whole life. Is there anything that is similar to that class (Guardian maybe?) that performs well in PvP, WvW, and in PvE as well? I don’t want to pick a class that does well in PvP and WvW, but is straight garbage in PvE. Pretty much just need to pick a well rounded class. Thanks!

Guardian sounds like your best bet. They have alot of good builds and can be adapted for almost every playstyle.

Guardian is the closest thing to a WoW Paladin, and it should be pretty obvious (especially to someone who’s clocked some time on the game) that Guardian is where you should be if you’re looking for a WoW Paladin proxy.

Just to be devils advocate, Warrior is much more versatile and can offer a much more varied experience than a Guardian (but lacks as much overals support to other players).

I don’t think ANY class is garbage in PvE (sans Dungeons). Rangers have some issues with hard hitting encounters, but other than that, they can all hold there own.
