Theives are really annoying. As a Engineer which build.....
I haven’t played engie but anything that lets you escape and have a range advantage over thieves or anything that knocks them back or CC’s them.
Maybe stack turrets? lol

I do stack Turrets and dance around them in PvP but that freaking teleport makes them hard to lock down.
The best way engineers kill me (assuming my defensive skills are down) is to root me, drop turrets around me, and within seconds im dead.
i play a thief as the knock back isn’t as much of a pain as you’d think with all there shadow step abilities, you’ll want to have a few cripples to slow them that will give you the best distance, and if you cant et away , dont show them your back or side, depending on the build the thief is running they get a massive boost to damage if your not facing them

I always stand and fight theives because I know I cant escape and my best bet is to blow them away with a show of might.
Turrets and the tool kit. When they dance around, drag them in and cripple them, then let the turrets finish them off. If they stealth, just wait it out. The heal stealth only lasts a few seconds, and they can’t really do much in Shadow Refuge.
Don’t ever sit around with just one or two turrets, though, or else the inevitable thrown daggers will screw you over.
