So, when I created my character, I choose the option to start with the hood. Now that I’m lvl 25, I haven’t seen one since.

Does anyone know if there is any armor that drops that is a hood? So far, I haven’t seen any and I’m wishing I would have saved mine so that I could keep that look forever.

Please tell me the answer is yes.

The Order of Whispers karma armor does have a hood, I believe. Its the armor you see most of their agents wearing (and looks… well, it looks funny on norns. Asurans just have the problem of not looking good at all with a hood).

However, from my experience, it looks like the armor choice you make at the start affects your character’s default look, so deciding to turn off the appearance for your helm causes the option you selected to show through. For example, I’m using the bandana option, and I can either decide to wear the fancy swashbuckler look, or disable the helm appearance and have the bandana show instead (it also shows when I’m wearing the goggle/eye piece attire).

I have never found one and I am level 35 … well I was level 35 until I got banned for inappropriate language.

From research it looks like the answer is no.

I’m going to try and make a new thief when I get home, and see if I can just toss his hood in the bank and then transmod it.

All the up to 80 I have seen one Hood, all mostly mask pieces, though I am currently wearing a head piece now, its not a Hood though. You might want to save that low level Hood until you get some xmute stones.

Too late for saving it, it’s long gone as I wasn’t really thinking about it, being my first character and all.

Really hoping I can just make a new thief and take his… if not… I would almost ponder re-rolling… maybe…

I hope disabling the helm appearance works, it does for me but I’m not sure if that’s just because I picked the bandana option, rather than the hood. So, best of luck!
