So I’m really not good at this game, I barely know anything and I have a level 15 Thief. I’m scared that I might follow outdated builds that will affect my gameplay.

Not sure you should worry about a “build” at that low a level (not sure what you set up at LVL 15 would even qualify as a “build”).

Short of obtaining stats on LVL 80 level gear, NOTHING is set in stone in terms of character development, so there is nothing to be scared of…..just play the game.

We go out in the world and take our chances

You wont even be able to build your thief until at least level 21 when you get your next set of traits.. (per the patch notes its 11, 21, 71 and 80 If I remember correctly) dont worry about it yet play the game!!
