I do want to help people on this forum as best I can, but it’s not always easy. Why? Because the forum is flooded with “help me, please!”, “need advice”, “returning player, need help” and so on. Which might sound fine when you make the thread, but for the rest of us, it can get very annoying to have to click a thread to find out what the heck you are asking for help about.

This is especially as there are plenty of things I can help with, and plenty of things I can’t help with. Simply because I don’t know. So if I have to click all those generic titles on a dozen threads, it’s just a big waste of time. If people could rather say right in the title what you need help with, we can all go straight to the posts we think we can help with, and avoid the ones we know we can’t. It would save us all a lot of trouble. Not just for us who want to help, but even for you, as you, as you make it easier for us to go straight for the places where we can be of use. The less time we spend opening generic threads, the more time we can spend doing something useful.

Thanks.

Add to this writing click bait headlines in an attempt to get attention. Just ask the question. If you have more than one question, create multiple threads.
