Okay I am not into wvw. And I only ever do it for an easy daily or when I am crafting a legendary.

My server is tarnished coast. It is considered a competitive server. And it usually has a que. I just cant stop myself from feeling that I am taking a spot from people who live for wvw. I like being on what is considered a nice server. But I also do not use it to much nor am I good a it.

Should I switch or stay? Am I thinking to much about it?

As a lifelong TC’er myself, why would you want to leave? Egad! You seem like a very nice, considerate person! Back before the megaserver, that was, like, our hallmark thanks to the massive amounts of RPers!

More seriously, if you leave TC it’ll be very hard to get back in. If you RP or just like seeing RP, bear in mind that the megaserver does (supposedly) weight in your server in choosing which map to toss you in, so you’re more likely to see random world RP if you have TC home server status yourself.

Plus there are tons of TC folks (myself included) who never go to WvW. I did it for a bit, drifted away, as it’s just not my thing. TC was founded as the unofficial RP server as of the first beta, and then proved solidly competitive in WvW which drew in more players ’til it was at the bursting point. There are several other top tier servers, let people go to them if WvW is all they care about.

TLDR: Imo don’t leave a grand server just to be nice when it likely won’t open a slot for a WvWer given the RPers who keep trying to get in as well. You’re thinking too much about a non-issue

The population for server transfers only counts people who actually go into WvW so unless you actually go and participate your transfer would not make any difference.

what everyone above said…. and…..

if you feel bad for going to WvW to do dailies, why not go into EotM? WvW dailies can be done there, and the reward tracks. then you’re not taking a space from someone in the queue who wants to WvW.
