Guild Wars 2

Besides what we are born with and what is in the gem shop, are there any other sources for town clothing in the game yet? Even any one-off pieces like boots, or maybe some stray karma vendor recipes?

I actually thought I saw a post once either here or at guildwars2guru that talked about maybe finding some, but I can’t seem to find that thread again.

I’ve heard of one hat from an NPC somewhere in the Iron Marches, but unfortunately I don’t know the name of the NPC or their location. But maybe that’ll help narrow down the search a bit, or someone else can confirm with more specifics.

Edit: Just realized that I could search Reddit quickly with “Iron Marches”, and found the name of the head piece — which is listed on the wiki, including location: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Iron%27s_Tailpipe_Bandana

But that’s the only piece I know of that’s not gem store.

you can get the witch hat for free from the fake mad king in the middle of lion’s arch currently. dunno how much longer he’s going to be there though

I think they had it down to a T in GW1 where u could get costume sets which you could put OVER your armour!
I was about to actually PAY for gems until i realised the only way people would see my sunglasses is if i selected town clothes (ugly) while in a town…
