Okay guys, I’ve been gone quite a while and they’ve redone the wardrobe since I was here last. They’ve instituted something to do with transmutation something or t’other and I apparently had one, which I wasted. Not sure exactly what’s going on, but here’s the story that’s brought me here. I purchased the pirate outfit from the gem store back when we had town clothes. They seem to be gone now. I checked in world chat and some people directed me to the black lion trader. That was an interesting journey which eventually lead me to the black lion trader ARMORER. He offered to trade my town clothes, which I assumed would be my pirate outfit. Actually, he unlocked 3 witch hats, caps and one other something I don’t remember because I was looking for the pirate outfit to be changed. Didn’t happen. So it just seems to be gone. Anybody have any information that might be useful in helping me find this outfit? Oh yeah, and I’m gonna have to figure out how to get transmutations. I thought since my witch hat had been changed at the armorer, I could just put it on like i did my old town clothes. It took the one transmutation I had and that was it, i can’t take it back off now. Uggghhhh. If there are any wardrobe fiends here who have patience to show me around I’d appreciate it.

Transmuation Charge

-Gem Store
-Black Lion Chest (if you are lucky)
-Daily achievement reward (as Bonus if you are lucky)
-Map completion reward (1 Transmutation Charge or 1 Black Lion Chest Key)
-PvP reward tracks (if you are lucky)

I think the easiest way to get them is map completion.
Some of the old townclothes are now armor skins (can be mixed with other armor skins), outfits (can`t be mixed but you can use all your skills) or potions (you can`t use your skills 6-0)).
And be careful with runes now, you can`t combine two pieces anymore so you have to salvage the one with the rune or use a upgrade extractor for 250gems (you can`t salve karma armor or those you get in WvW with Badges of Honor).

To unlock the Pirate Outfit you have to speak to the black lion trader armorer with the charakter who last worn it.
How to find it:
-open your hero panel
-klick on wardrobe
-select “outfits”
-there you should find your pirate outfit, select it and click on apply
