Trade area inaccessible?
If you are talking about the area around 9 o’clock position of DR, lower level, that’s only for players with a Royal Pass. A permanent one went on sale for one day at the start of January in the gem store while other players may have a pile of the two week versions bought when they were available last.
It’s merely a convenience. Nearly everything in it is available spread out through DR, with the exception of a MF and gate travel from DR to all five other cities. And those you can access from LA.

The bank and trading post in Divinity’s Reach are at the Ministers Waypoint – at the south edge of the inner circle, on the upper level. (Just above the text that says Dwayna High Road.)
Crafting Stations are directly below there (Commons Waypoint) and merchants are dotted around the area.
All of it is accessible by characters of all levels, as soon as they leave the starting instance (when you wake up after the centaur attack).

Thanks. I’d struggled and struggled to find my way into that 9 o’clock one. Couldn’t figure it out, looking for hidden tunnels or gates. Now I know I’m not going insane <lol> I’ll try the other one. I really like the game, though. Lots of fun.
Most everything is between the 4 and 8 o’clock positions near the inner ring, top and bottom level.
Minister’s Waypoint at 6 o’clock is where the bank, guild bank, TP and guild contacts are located as well as a vendor and BLC ticket vendor.
Take an elevator down (or use the free Commons Waypoint) to the lower level and the various crafting stations are spread out from 4 to 8 o’clock along the inner wall.
Back upstairs is the gate to LA and the Laurel vendor in the Upper City.

You can get exactly the same thing but going to Rata Sum. Everything there is close together.

Or The Grove. They at least cluster all the crafting in one spot.

I hadn’t ventured into other areas yet, been concentrating on finding my way around the home city. I’m sure now I can find my way a bit better. This is my first time in this game, but not my first in MMOs. It’s a matter of learning game mechanics and the like.
