Guild Wars 2

There used to be Trading Posts at the Norn starter area and other villages but now every one has gone so where I can buy things from there I can’t collect them or collect money from items I sell.

I know you can get a box thing you click from your Inventory which gives you a travelling Trading Post guy but I don’t know where to get them from either

can anyone help please ?

Err… just go into the towns or WvW and use the TP guys there? It’s really not that hard.

Whats WWW and there are no TP guys in the towns, I just went to the Norn town and spent 20 mins running arounf and didnt see any TP guys.

Hoelbrak? The tp is up from the Asura portal, opposite side of the top deck from the bank.

Yeah ive been to Hoelbrack, and didnt see any Trading post’s there anywhere, I will double check just incase I missed him though, thanks

Out of all the cities, the bank and TP are least convenient in Hoelbrak. At least you don’t have to trudge all the way to the bank since you can use any crafting machine as one. But yeah, look to the sw corner, topmost level, you will find the TP.

Though once you’re in that portion of the city you could hop through the gate to LA and go to any of the zillions of TP traders there.

Hoelbrak it’s top level of the main lodge building on the side nearest to the Asura Gate. Bank is on the opposite side top level, the side nearest to the zone exits and personal instance. Crafting stations are one level down on the bank side.

is this is any way related to the new patch ?? that is we cant see the trading post until a certain level ?

It seems trading posts will unlock now only in the level 17. I doubt you will not be able to see the trading posts even in cities until then

Thank you PrinceWarhero, I looked at the patch notes but couldn’t see anything related.

There was no need to lock TP’s untill lvl 17 and in the area map’s all I heard were people complaining and moaning about things that also changed (things i dont even know what are) so I think i’m going to give gw2 a break and maybe come back later.

Ya they din even include this information in the release notes which is very bad !!
i dont think taking a break will be good bro. because whenever you come its gonna be like this, so instead , js make up ur mind play and level up fast to > 20 then you can enjoy the game

Its not locked. I’ve had a level 2 character go to the tp in Hoelbrak to test it.

I made that mistake PrinceWarhero. It’s not unlocks at 17, it’s tells you about it at 17. O should always open up the TP.

I’ve done a bit of investigating with characters on my second account that was only activated a few days before the leveling blog post. Hardly anything is locked; skills and skill related stuff mostly. Apparently there’s a few bugs in the system and the revealing of info to alts may be one of them. Not sure on those details though. But as soon as a character comes out of the level 1 area then its ready to travel the world and beyond. It isn’t clear at all and hopefully that will be fixed soon.
