Is there a way to reset traits and or skill points? I feel like I could have spent my points more wisely.

Skill points no, but you get those easily in huge amounts soon enough, so don’t worry about that.
Traits can be reset talking with the same NPC that sell the book that unlock the traits, it cost a small fee (at lvl 80 it is about 3s).

This, just make sure you don’t buy the books. It is a separate line in the text when you talk to your prof trainer.
