Just wait until the April 15 patch. All ascended gear will become account bound. You’ll just have to unequip, put it in your bank then take it back out with another character.

Alright, and what about the stats, will I be able to change the stats on that item?

EDIT: By that I mean, will I be able to change the stats from Power/Precision/Crit to Power/Toughness/Vitality instead?

I am not aware of anything that would allow a stat change.
The only things in the game with changeable stats are legendary weapons. Everything else either has the stat set at time of creation or it’s a one time thing.

It will work just like a skin that you can apply, basically what ever stats you have on your Guardian backpiece, it’s the stats that will keep.

After the update goes live, you will be able to select the LOOK of that back piece and add it to ANY existing back piece that you have. As mentioned above, that will NOT effect the stats of the back piece in any way.

In addition, the Ascended items will become ACCOUNT bound, so you can take the piece and give it to your other character (but again, this has no bearing on the existing stats or changing them).

If you want an Ascended PVT back piece, you will have to obtain one.
