Guild Wars 2

I have a Vision of the Mists on my warrior which I would like to transfer over to my Mesmer. The vision was originally transferred from my guardian several months back, so this is actually the 2nd time I will be transferring it.

Does anyone know the exact steps I should take now that we have splitters? I have several free splitters and crystals lying around, but I would much prefer not to waste them.

transmute the item on to a white or blue item (The idea is that it cant be an item that can be soulbound). This will make it account bound. Then you simply more it to your other character and transmute the stats you want onto it again.

If you transmute it to a green, yellow, or orange, that will make it soulbound so you have to transmute it on the character you want to have it.
