I did a quick search and I couldn’t find what I was looking for…

I tried transmuting the Anonimity Hood with a white item and the final product shows the Anonimity Hood with the stats of the white but when I wear it it displays the white item with white stats.
Any ideas? If I try transmuting the item again will it revert to showing the hood or have I lost it completely?

I’m not entirely sure actually, but though I’d offer what advice I can ^^;

If the tooltip shows the picture and the name Anonymity Hood, then it should look like that when you wear it. If it isn’t, I’d suggest transmuting it again with the look of the hood and if -that- doesn’t work, you’ll have to use the transmutation trick to get another one off a low level thief.

Are you wearing it or previewing it? I have a transmuted Anonymity Hood in my bank but if my mesmer previews it, it looks like a mask.

Previewing transmuted equipment will display the skin of the item that provided the stats instead of the item that provided the skin.

I love all of you. I was previewing it as the character I gave it to is not able to equipt the item yet.

The preview will always show the stat item unless they fix this. Almost threw out a few items i had cause i didn’t know about the bug. Since it happened i have been trying to think what Anet did to cause this to happen.
