I’m curious about something from the October 1 patch:

“Armor that is currently equipped can no longer be transmuted.”

Does this mean that once I equip a piece of armor even once, it can’t be transmuted? That’s what it sounds like, but I just tried transmuting some low-level gloves that i was wearing, and it worked…

if anyone knows what changes this patch made exactly, please do share… because i can’t see a difference. Thank you!

As far as I know, it only made gear that you are currently wearing not transmutable. So if you want to transmute things, you have to put both items in the regular inventory.

Thanks, arty. D’oh. If that’s all it is, i’m glad. i have my eye on some cultural armor so i would hate to have messed that up by equipping it first.

right, all it means is do not try and transmute your gear while you are wearing it (not sure why they changed this).
