Transmutations... not really convincing, a proposal...
yes you lose the previouse item however you keep everything however you can move the rune over as well.
you can keep transmuting the same look over and over to other items eg: kritan armor, armor 1, armor 2. if you put kritan armor on armor 1 then put the look of armor 1 onto armor 2 it still looks like kritan armor so you don’t have to keep finding the look each time u get a new item.
Ye, but when you apply look A on item B the item A is lost, no? And the look of item B is lost too…
I really like the idea of style collecting, and then applying that using a stone. I’m actually kinda shocked it’s not like that already…
Seems like the logical progression to me, but I doubt it will happen. When the feedback is open be sure to post this!
It’s called a money sink. Be glad that dyes are reusable and only need to be unlocked once
I"m glad they have a way to change the looks of your armor but I’m waiting until I’m level 80 to transform my armor. I can’t see transforming armor that you will out level in a day or two.
Bear in mind that the basic transmutation stones only work on equipment of lvl 79 and below…
If you complete zones 100% then you’ll have plenty of these stones for free. You can even find the fine transmutation stones so you can use them on lvl80 gear.

I have been doing the 100% completion for any zone that I wander into and I am lvl62 with 21 Basic Transmutation Stones and I think 3 of the lvl 80 ones. There are ways to get them without spending IRL money.

I know it is a money sink, indeed even if i’m not fond of it, the game has no subscription cost and it has to earn money elsewhere.
What i don’t like it is the whole clunkiness required if someone wants to keep many styles. To do that a player would need to store in the inventory each piece of style he likes, even applied onto a lvl1 white item, just to store it somewhere.
Bank/Inventory it is another money sink, and so it would be also in my proposal (b), but at least it would be practical and not clunky.
