So I have a human ranger and I dearly want that sylvari wing looking skin. I had a thought if I could actually transmute the sylvari skin to make it account bound so that I can put it in bank and my human can take it and transmute it to its own armor?

The process would be the same as the one people use to get the theif hood on other medium armor characters. Just wondering if anyone has tried it, if not I might try it and get around the barrier.

No, that isn’t possible. They fixed that because the cultural models simply don’t exist for all races, and you could end with beeing naked when you equip for example human armor on a Charr.

ahh okay so they dont allow switching or if u switch it simply wont appear?

AFAIK it was possible at the beginning, but now it isn’t allowed anymore.

At first it cause naked (no underwear either) characters. So they fixed this so it is not allowed, There is no human skin for the silvari cultural armor, and even though simular, there are differences in the anatomy of the models used.
