Guild Wars 2

Howdy hey,

I’m fairly new to the whole Guildwars 2 scene, and Google yields no travel advice to the humble noob. I’ve managed to get lost trying to figure something out.

Is there a quick way to get from The Black Citadel to Kessex Hills?

Me and my friend want to level together to make the process more fun. I don’t know if it matters but I am level 21, He is level 32. I’m a Charr and he’s a Tree man.

You can get the any of the other races’ main cities through asura gates – there’ll be one from the Black Citadel to Lion’s Arch, and one from Lion’s Arch to everywhere else. If you go from Lion’s Arch to Divinity’s Reach, you can get to the human 1-15 zone, Queensdale, easily and for free. Then to get to Kessex you’ll just have to run south (if you get to Godslost Swamp, there’s an entrance from the south of the swamp to Kessex).

Once you’ve been somewhere you can waypoint back, but until then the capital cities are the only places you can easily warp to (using asura gates). Hope this helps and enjoy the game!

Yep, go to Lion’s Arch and use the Asura gate.

When in game, press ‘H’, select the last icon on the left side of your pop up, go to the heart of the mists. When in the heart run to the other side where the Lion’s arch gate is, pop over to the asura gates to the other capitals and Bob’s your Uncle.
