Guild Wars 2

So… i’ve been playing for a while now, and until recently (Lv 40-48) i’ve had no problem picking up sweet gear from completing renown hearts, personal story, random drops, etc…

But now i’m wearing armor ten levels old, the TP wont let me see item’s descriptions or buy for some reason, and if i find treasure chests near bosses or jumping puzzles or whatever it’s never for my profession, and the Karma Vendors in my area don’t sell equipment with the stats i want for my build.

HELP! what do i do?

i have been getting the appropriate armor every 5 levels from the armor smith. it’s a good baseline armor. with decent armor mod drops, i still have my level 4 ring.

Usually the armor i have is already better than what the armorsmith can give me, but terrible compared to anything else i can get in the area.

My level 47 main is having to do with drops and karma vendors too.

But I’m leveling up an armorsmith, leathersmith and weaponsmith and keeping them current with the level of my all my alts for the future. I’ve got more save karma points on each alt than I do my main, lol.

I wind up having more expendable coinage than karma, since i want to save my karma for the 1337 gear at lv 80, and i only need coins for repairs and waypoints, so i’m going to start using the Trading Post whenever my equipment starts falling behind. Problem is 50% of the time i cannot see item stats in the TP, or buy them. The inconsistency is annoying.
