Hi there!
I was curious if anyone else has had trouble completing the Maguuma Explorer achiement?
I have exactly one place left to uncover! But finding that place appears to be extREMELY difficult.
I’ve been using the Wiki to locate all the areas. And I have them ALL uncovered on my ingame map, or so it appears. I also made for to check for places that are super hidden. As the Wiki suggests, I visited the areas that were most often skipped over or passed over when exploring the areas.
I don’t know if you guys have any suggestions of areas you found hard to find, or if you think I should link screenshots of my map?
I scoured every inch of my map, and if I really just skipped over it with my eyes, I’ll be a bit embarrassed, but at this point. I have no idea what else it could be… I cannot find it though! Ah!

All that I can suggest is turning off everything except World Completion in the little eye in the bottom left of the screen.

What zone are you missing a place to uncover, BTW? You have looked at the wiki to see what zones are included in the achievement, right?

It is most likely one of the hidden jumping puzzles. These do not have any map objectives in them, nor any markers, so they will not appear in any way, shape, or form unless you have physically been to them.

I recommend doing all of the Jumping puzzle achievments (except the WvW and Not So Secret), and Dive master, except for the final dive in Not So Secret. This will likely indirectly get you all of the hidden areas for world exploration.

Try using the Bluestone list. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer
Go through each section of Maguuma explorer and make sure it’s uncovered on the map. It’s tedious but you should be able to pinpoint any missing areas with it.

It was Unguent Den in Mount Maelstrom.
