Guild Wars 2

Ive got a hankering to go for this title. Its obviously a huge investment, so if I do it, I want to do it right. I’ve got a few questions Im hoping you guys can help me with.

1) It doesnt have to be a mainhand/offhand combo, correct? You could be two seperate twohanders if you wanted.

2) Will this even be possible with the new legendaries that are comng with hot? My understanding is you are limited to one of the new pres per account, and that both the pres and the legendaries are account bound in which case it would be impossible to get more than one.

3) If you did want to have 2 legendaries on the same character using a mainhand/offhand combo, what would be a good choice? I mean in terms of utility in game play. Dagger dagger jumps straight to my mind as I love playing thief, many other professions can use that combo, and incinerator is very cool. Pistol pistol…nah. Quip is annoying and not that great at least on thief but I dont know about other professions. I’m sure through warrior there are a lot of possiblities, but I’m just not familiar to know what would be good. And what about revenant? Will that open up any possibilities. Is sword sword possible on revenant?

For that tittle you need 2 of the same legendary, no matter which one, it can be 2x howlers , 2x incenerators or 2x Eternities.
But if you make something like a Bolt and a Howler you won’t get the tittle, both legendary need to be the same.

You are limited to 1 per account from the collection, if you manage to get a 2nd precursor from Mystic Forge or drop you can make another copy.

2x Swords with rev seems like a really good idea and is a good option imo.

thanks for the info! So it will be possible to get the new pres from the mystic forge? Its not only avaliable throught the scavenger hunt? Thats pretty interesting if you can get a new pre from the MF.

Yes you can, the new scavenger/collection system is just to give a non RNG option to get a precursor, not that it will be easier or cheaper, just not random.

I think it shouldnt cost you anything. From what i understand it will be a VERY LONG list of things to do like emote on some special place etc.

I think it will be like Mawdrey on steroids, and probably also use materials that are/will be expensive.
I agree that it won’t be as expensive than the current precursors, but it won’t be cheap for sure.
