Guild Wars 2

So the other day a group of friends and I queue up for the borderlands. It was about 8 pm my time so when WvW is at its peak with players.

I was in queue for 40 minutes and one of my friends queues up and gets in immediately and after I get a queue (being in the queue longer) it says "can’t join when game is updatin try again in a few minutes.

So my questions are:

1. Does the queue time take priority over people who queue first? Because it doesn’t seem like it does

2. Is it still buggy or broken?

You’re right it is buggy. From my experience and what I have read you may have better luck queuing from a non-overflow zone. If you get prompted to switch from overflow you probably want to requeue. Also, helps to relog before queueing. And if you’re waiting more than 20 minutes then relog and requeue.

There are more questions than answers on WvWvW queuing, especially since they don’t give a time or player count estimate.
