Hello all,

On most of my toons, I’ve got precisely zero interest in finishing personal story, LS2, or any of that green text that shows up on the side of my screen.

I also have no interest in dailies, so I don’t want to see any of that text, either, ever.

I’ve been going nuts trying to figure out how to permanently turn that stuff off and declutter my screen, and I can’t. All I ever want to see are local events. Nothing else. Does someone know?

I’ve tried quitting story episodes. The text reappears with a map change.

I’ve tried clicking the tracking toggle (eye symbol) for dailies – always “Daily Completionist” is there, no matter what.

I’ve tried every option in the “Content Guide” pulldown menu on the Options (F11) panel.

Any ideas, anyone?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to completely turn off any of that. “Disable personal story” works to an extent for the PS text, but that’s about it for what you’re talking about.

There is no way to disable it completely.

You can reduce the achievement tracker to a single line by choosing to track just one achievement. That replaces the entire list of dailies with the one you’re tracking, and they won’t reappear until you stop tracking it or complete it. (You can still see them in the achievement panel and still complete them, they just don’t show on screen.)

If you want to keep it that way for a long time pick an achievement you’re not likely to complete any time soon, or ever, like Giant Slayer or Shield Master.

But the only way to get rid of the story is to complete it. The ‘disable personal story’ option is specific to the compass guide thing, it will stop the arrow pointing you to the story but it won’t stop the text from appearing.
