Guild Wars 2

Just started playing again after months, logged in after buying HoT. Clicking around the inventory.
Suddenly my appearance changes. I don’t like it at all. Pieces say
“This item is currently obscured by another.”

How do I undo, I really want my previous skins back.

You may have an Outfit on. Hero Panel – Outfits – untick.

Or you may have double-clicked on a piece of gear while having the Hero Panel open. You can change gear in Hero Panel – Equipment.

Or you had the Wardrobe open and changed the look of a piece of gear…but, that would necessitate confirming in the Transmutation Charge window.

Are you trying to translate something from a different language to English? Can’t remember anyone ever mentioning something like that in all the years of playing GW2 …

I think Inculpatus cedo.9234 has the inforamtion you want unless for whatever reason you are talking about a few of the chest skins that overwrite the shoulder skins. If it is that… you need to use a different chest skin. (skins that come to mind are CoF chest pieces, can’t think of ours off the top of my head)

Just checked it with the medium CoF chest and that is exactly what it says.

There are a few helmets that abscure the shoulders. Have you checked with hiding pieces to reveal the obscured piece?

Inculpatus Cedo, I had the ‘Royal Guard’ outfit on which I had in my inventory. I just had to click it off in the Outfits tab of the Hero Panel.

Any enabled outfit will obscure your armor. Some armor pieces will obscure others — notably, certain cosmetic headgear will obscure shoulder armor. To reveal obscured armor, simply mark hidden what obfuscates it — go to “Outfit” and uncheck the box on the outfit, or “Equipment” / “Wardrobe” and uncheck the obscuring armorpiece.
