Are there any accurate posts about what affects aggro tables for mobs? The wiki page itself says it is out of date. I have searched the forums, but have not found anything concrete or verified. If there is new information, can someone point me in the right direction so the wiki can be updated?

Most mobs target based on proximity and damage.

There are some mobs that target based on other variables.
Example: Certain bosses will target highest “defensiveness” which can be an equation using Toughness and Vit and Armor, or just one of the stats.

There are no real “aggro” tables as there is no way to guarantee yourself as main-tank.

The way agro works in this game is pretty advanced and is often per mob different. The first thing thats different per mob is the agro range. Some mobs can be passed pretty close without getting their atention and others notice you form miles away.

Ohter thing is the target selection, this too can change from mob to mob.

The best way I’ve found to control agro in this game is by learning how to break it off yourself. By making yourself a secondary target in any number of ways (decreasing dps, increasing distance from target, avoid using CC- or CC then do all of the above especially increasing distance to make a closer target priority, ect ect) Those kinds of things can be done in reverse, within reason, to help hold agro. But it takes a combination of a little bit of everything to pull it off. Keeping an eye on the target and watching for visual cues about it’s behavior is the key to it.
