Guild Wars 2

Not sure if this is a bug, or if I’m missing something on using upgrade components. I’m not able to slot any upgrade components that have 2 attributes. My character is lvl 35, the armor and weapons are also around lvl 30, but things like refined stones or runes with more than one attribute will not slot. I’m following the descriptions on the upgrade component, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?…

Generally people miss 2 things when trying to apply upgrade components.

1. The level requirement of the upgrade component. This has to be lower than the level of the piece of gear you want to upgrade.

2. The type of upgrade component. Some upgrades are only for specific types of gear. (Runes are for armor, Sigils are for weapons etc).

If it’s not one of those then we might need more information to help you.

It’s still not working, so I gathered some specifics about the gear. If I try to slot minor rune of the traveler in my leather vest it just shows up as red. There is no level req. on the rune, and the slot is currently unused, so it should work. The same goes for all of my armor. All open slots and nothing but red when I hover over them with the rune. This is only one example. I have tried numerous upgrade components hovering over all of my equipment and nothing happens. Single attribute upgrade components are working normally. I am running the mac beta, so maybe it’s a bug. Anyone else having this problem?

OK it is working normally now after the most recent patch.
