Upgrading ascended ring to infused ring

Hey,
I’m thiking about upgrading ascended ring to infused ring, but I already have slotted Mighty Infusion (+5 Power, +5 Agony Resistance) in.
Here is the question, what will happen with slotted mighty infusion – will it stay or I would have to make it all over again?

But is +5 power really a big deal? I know I wouldn’t spend any money / skill points for +5 anything.

80 Guardian. 80 Warrior. 80 Thief. 80 Engineer. 80 Necromancer. 80 Ranger.

Yes, you lose it. Unless you have a huge amount of gold to burn, it’s a waste to use the good infusions on anything but the infused rings or backpieces.
