Valkyrie armor for elementalists?
I’d say Knight’s would be a better choice than Valkyrie’s as it has precision. Valkyrie looks nice and up’s your crit damage but if you’re critical chance isn’t high enough to take advantage of that then it’s kinda useless.

I’d be careful with Valkyrie, as Elementalist your critical chance isn’t quite high enough to avoid Precision completely.
My recommendation:
Berserker Trinkets, simply a must due to how much % critical chance they give.
Berserker Weapons, same reason as Trinkets.
Mixture of Knights (Toughness, Power, Precision) and/or Soldier (Power, Toughness, Vitality) and/or Berserker’s to your liking. If you chose to keep any Berserker pieces in your gear prioritize Shoulders, Gloves, Boots, once again due to the percentage they give.
This can change during the ‘Berserker-nerf’ how-ever (just saying) and as you can notice I prefer Toughness over Vitality since I feel it syncs more with any healing you might receive, but I don’t know if it’s actually better.

basically what esmee said, I like soldiers helm, coat, and leggings. Knights shoulders gloves boots. You want your critical chance around 25-30% and with our great access to fury this will be higher almost permanently, I use a sigil of accuracy on offhand since my base critical chance isn’t that high, other elementalists might prefer sigil of force of something else. good luck

go with zerker trinkets and weapons with a cavalier backpiece and knight’s armor. The extra crit dmg you get from Valk armor is good but a more consistant crit chance is MUCH more important as crits have a PLUS 50% damage boost as a base so proccing this more often is much better than the 16% crit damage from armor. not to mention proccing things like Weak Spot or any sigils you use is gonna be more effective. the more consistant your build is the better. wild fluctuation is bad generally. sure you might get to see a ‘bigger’ number once in a while but you run the chance of doing less damage in the long run. you want your high damage coefficient skills to crit as often as possible, even if that means sacrificing a little bit of crit damage for crit chance. such is the trade-off for survive.

I think I will go with Berserker (shoulder, gloves, and boots) with Knight’s (head, coat, and legs). And also with Berserker trinkets and weapons. I hope this sounds like a good combo!
