Q:
Vista's unreachable
Near the waypoint where is that vista is an asura guy, talk with him and he will give you a gun letting you jump there.
All vistas are reachable. The one in Lions Arch on the Island is definitely unique. I don’t want to spoil anything, rest assured there are guides out there if you google them.
Very few are tied to a jumping puzzle, some are more of a pain than others, but even as a not-so-good jumper I managed them all without portal help.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
As someone who has 100% world completion i can assure you they are all reachable
Some vistas are relatively simple, others require a bit of exploration and jumping to reach.
The one in Ogham Wilds for example you have to approach from above and to the east, aim to get as high as you can on the cliffs and then start looking for a way down. Mostly it’s fairly straight forward but there is one bit where you need to take a big leap down to the next rock, and then curve around to the north rather than going straight towards the vista.
The one in Ruins of the Unseen is basically a mini-jumping puzzle. In a way it’s a bit easier because there’s only one path and once you know what you’re looking for (a series of wooden planks leading up and around the ruins) it’s relatively easy to see where to go, but it does require some careful manoeuvring.
If you get really stuck there’s always the wiki (at the top of this page) or video guides available.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
All are doable.
Ogham wilds: no jumping required, you can walk there. so if you think you can’t reach it cause it is two high, you need to go around to walk to higher grounds.
Ruins of the unseen: Ok this one is a lil bit tricky and I used a guide on youtube on the first try. So I’ll spoil more. To the north is an area with someskritt. in a corner are some boxes to climb on, use that to get on some scafolding on higher ground. follow that and go udnerneath the vista to the other side of the wall. there you will find a way to go to even higher grounds. use that. The last jump to the vista is very tricky. Use a speedboost to help you (although it can be done without a boost).
The one lions arch. Very small hint. Socialize with the people nearby, specially the ones hiding in bushes

+1 but a few are difficult (especially that nightmare in straits), youtube can be your friend in the ones where the entrance is obscured or not readily apparent to the location of the vista itself.

There is another starting point for that vista.
It cuts the length by about half.
The starting point is in the screenshot.
Lol those 2 vistas tht u listed are one of the few ones i had problems with. i actually youtubed those to learn how to do but for most of the vistas I didn’t. I will give u a hint on the LA one though its similar to the diesa plateau (?) one where u had to launch urself on some catapult to get on top of that tower vista. for the caledon waterfall one, I think I also had problems with that. Like most of the vistas I have difficulty with I’d try to go around to look for way up but to get it its actually very simple. look at youtube one for that but they should make it look easier, it can be deceptive but all u have to do is jump straight to it, u shouldn’t have to go around at all. the only other 1 i think i had a hard time with that one in mount maelstrom or something (?) where u had to jump through all those branches thru trees to the top. if u have world completion you’ll know what i mean its probly in one of those Orr areas, it was inside a cave and kinda hard for me to jump to the top.

The tree thing sounds like Vizier’s Tower which is in Straits of Devastaion, next door to Mount Maelstrom. It’s also 3 different things. A Jumping Puzzle, a vista and a skill challenge.
All of the vista’s are reachable. If you’re having trouble with a specific one I suggest you look it up on the wiki because there are usually detailed guides of where you need to jump.
I do recall seeing a dev statement a while ago where they apologised for some of them being a little difficult to get to for people who weren’t very good with jumping puzzles – but I’m not sure if they have any plans to go back and fix it.
Personally I hope they don’t, I love jumping puzzles and a lot of the vistas have really cool mini puzzles involved in getting to them. But I can see why a lot of people find this annoying and difficult.
If you are really struggling get a guild member to go with you and let them take each jump first, that way you know exactly where you’re trying to land.
My advice is to make Youtube your friend. I have used it many, many times to find/reach vistas and jumping puzzles. Why frustrate yourself? The only one I ended up not being able to reach without mesmer port assistance was the one at the green keep in Eternal Battlegrounds. That one is a jumping puzzle, and I cried a lot before offering a mesmer 1g to port me (I’m sure he/she would have done it for free – I insisted on giving the money because I was so grateful to have the help).

I think he is talking bout the cave near fort trinity where all the juveniles are. that is a nasty one too.
Viziers tower is more difficult in jumping but it is easier to see where to go imo. It only got two nasty jumps and the reason the tower is notorious difficult is cause those are at the end and missing them leads to a fatal death. But it is still not hard to figure out what you need to do, just to do it

Forgot about that place.
I don’t remember the jumps at vizier’s tower being fatal even without falling damage trait. Depending on where you fall you might have to redo the whole thing or just half of it.
95% of the time if the approach isn’t obvious, you’re looking on the wrong side of the hill or mountain. The other 5% are GD jumping puzzles which can be obvious, just annoying.
And that’s what YouTube is for.

OK i found it, the one I actually meant was the lightfoot passage vista in Straits of Devestation. i knew it was in the corner of the map somewhere.. thats what i meant by ‘cave’ vista though, it was probably one of the hardest vistas for me to get, mainly coz i was such a fat charr who couldnt get the jumps right, one small slip up and I’d end up falling to my death xD

They are all reachable and every vista (as well as everything else like jumping) has many vids and instruction. Really easy to find in any search.

My problem with this one was related to which trunk to jump to because the lay of it made me go all the way, have drop and not die and start over. Once I took the risk on the one that looked too steep to climb, it was cake….
Interactive map is always your friend….
In Ogham Wild I was shown by another character that at the bottom of the skill challenge on the right was a very small area to jump so that I could get the skill point to complete the area in Caledon Forest. I really like that you can sometimes get help in the explorable areas from perfect strangers, rather it is a jumping vista or getting revived when helping in killing a champion. Thanks. Also I try to help others with there problems in the game. I think that the Norn are the worst jumpers (jmo). Jumping in games have always been a problem for me. I press the button to jump and yet I do not jump. It may have something to do with being too late in pressing when moving or a program problem that just hasn’t really been solved. Thanks again. I do not understand this Bump Warning. Just something new for me to learn (and I like learning).
