Guild Wars 2

Hi guys!

I’m playing a warrior, and I need to kill a few world invaders to collect the monthly achivement award. Only problem is I am really bad at it. WvW seems really fun and I tried a few times but I get wacked as soon as I get involved in something.

Any tips regarding warriors in WwW?

If you’re not 80 or have crap gear, stick to ranged weapons as much as possible.

Assuming that kills from deployed weapons count, buy the blueprints for arrow carts or similar. Just a guess here, as I don’t do WvW. At least, yet.

Use a bow or other ranged weapon and run with groups. Tab through to find the lowest health targets within reach of your bow. Obviously the outcome is better if you take the targets down quickly so finding the lowest health each time helps win the objective by taking them out more quickly.

Also, adjust your skills for what you are doing. You need to be able to move fast. Most of the times you won’t be able to stay in one place long so don’t take any skills that require you to stand still to benefit from them.

Grab some guildies and either raid camps and kill randoms or find a zerg and bring as much AoE as you can get!

You wait til a mace shield guardian ran up and put up a wall while getting focus fired (don’t ask). Then jump the guy who tried to melee that guardian (again don’t ask). Otherwise, pull out your rifle and start owning.

All classes have a line of great ranged or melee skill sets, switch on situation. And no a reckless full exotic warrior cannot live 5 sec of a massive face off. And siege weapons do massive damage.
