Warrior, engineer or necromancer?
Well, you said you don’t know why you leveled the engie to 80 so I would say that rules him out right there.
You have troubles with the necro so that makes him a lesser choice. That leaves warrior. Which you have full ascended anyway so you might as well finish.

1 – i really hate melee
2 – game have enough warriors, 2-4 always in party
You could breathe life into your Engineer by trying out some different builds. I jsut shifted to a FT/EG hybrid and it is insane how fun it is. I am constantly switching kits and lining up combos off my own abilities.
Engineer is a complex class and has a lot of options.
Legacy of Elijah (LoE) – Sanctum of Rall
Don’t put an ascended weapon on that Engie. You will be in kit most of the time anyways.
From the sound of it, either the warrior or necro would be better for you. Do you hate melee more than you hate the condition cakitten ue? Is the look of the armor more important? Decide those and there you go.

Isn’t kits damage scale from weapon in hands?
What area of the game will you be spending most of your time? PvP/WvW/PvE?
Regarding kits they have their own damage value of 969. Stats on weapons and sigils are however retained when using kits.

PvE mostly. And i think i’ll choose Necromancer, i’m kinda in love with condition management. Conditions for necro is friends no matter on him or on enemy.
